You're correct! Chandler despised Cain. I had an entire section about this, but removed it because for length and then conflated it with the praising quote from a newspaper book reviewer of the time. But yes there's and odd pathos with the two star crossed, evil lovers in Postman. And yeah, not a fan of incest lol But check out the Kindle Romance bestsellers and sadly many are.
